A great traditional mixer. Tasting notes :sweet raisin, banana with hint of wood. The barreled in bond and other expressions of it are better sippers but Jack and coke will always be an American favorite.

Very pleasant cherry on the nose but not medicinal. Best cherry nose I’ve ever smelled. I can see why the rumors say this is 13 year old Wild Turkey. Vanilla and slight caramel but holy cherry.
Ethanol upfront followed by a rich cherry that surfs on the ethanol to cover the entire palate. Pretty one note but very pleasant. Medium finish but not too memorable. When the bourbon first hits the palate is where this bourbon shines.

Had some Parker’s Double Barreled Blend with GTS 2018 and GTS 2022. Very tough matchup but GTS 2018 ended up winning many a hair in my opinion over GTS 2022 then Parker’s in a very respectable 3rd. GTS 18 just had the balanced sweetness. GTS 22 was more oak and more flavor which many might prefer over 2018. All fantastic pours.
