Old Fitzgerald is a line I’m not too familiar with. I’ve tried a few of the decanter bottles and they’ve been good but I don’t know if they’ Read Morere worth the price they command.
I finally got the chance to try Old Fitz 7 at my buddy’s house. I was really surprised! It’s giving, dessert and spice like a cinnamon cookie. Pleasant on the palate and good finish. Different than most bottles I’ve tried so definitely good to have a bottle in the rotation. Read Less

Review #16 Elijah Craig Barrel Proof B525
Distillery: Elijah Craig (Heaven Hill)
ABV/Proof: 63.1/126.2
Age Stat Read Moreement: 11 Years 6 Months
Mash Bill: 78% Corn 10% Rye 12% Malted Barely Non Chill Filtered
After what felt like the longest wait to get our hands on this batch, it’s finally here! B525 marks the second release of the year—and now we know, the highest age-stated.
Nose: When I first jump into this, dark cherries come to the forefront. As I work further in, proof hits me, sweet red fruits, tobacco, oak and hints of caramel and citrus. I also find cherry to become sweeter as I nose further into this.
Palate: As I started in the nose, sweet cherries right away, followed by a fantastic cinnamon punch lead. Tobacco, sweet red jam, hints of citrus, oak and caramel. I really enjoy this!
Finish: A warm cinnamon hug carries through, followed by sweet cherries and a touch of citrus, finishing slightly drying.
I would rate this a 8.5 out of 10, and consider this a buy. It’s this year’s highest age statement.
I’ll have to say, this is sweet, red fruit forward and very enjoyable pour! If I’m being honest though, after seeing the stats for this release I was very excited for C925 and well.. I might have been a little let down, but these are still going to be favorite every year! Cheers!🥃🥃 Read Less
