This bottled in bond expression has plenty of cornbread and butter. Caramel on the back but corn is definitely prominent but sweet rather than grainy.
This drinks actually amazing. Nice rich texture and coats my palate well with cornbread and syrup. Good finish and leaves you with a nice flavor that you can linger on.

Dusty Cinnamon up front on the nose. Aged subtle cherry and not much else. Zero ethanol as well. Good nose but nothing stands out.
Palate is nice sweet oak and coats palate well. Medium finish and flavor to be honest. Not too much going on. Ethanol is present and definitely tastes old and oaky but that’s about it.

Smoked Old Fashioned with Blanton’s to bring in the weekend
Not a lot of oak in the aroma. Not much aroma at all tbh. Generic mild flavour and quite smooth. Doesn’t burn going down. Mouthfeel is great. Has an orange candy note and a hint of vanilla in the finish.
Good but overpriced in my opinion. It’s like a smoother Makers Mark. I’m new to Bourbon tasting notes though so don’t take my word for it, lol.
Logged this as the High West Prairie Bourbon but the label just says Bourbon. Not sure if there’s a different label for Canada imports or if this version just isn’t in the database.

Yess! The Eagle Rare Bourbon Whiskey is indeed one of the rare finds any one can feel blessed for. Masterfully crafted and carefully aged for no less than 10 years, it's more of a bliss of pure perfection and taste aged to one like never before.
A great daily sipper and love the subtle taste almost like a smokiness or hint of rich dark chocolate (hence the cocoa)
