Appearance - In the glen the pour has a golden amber hue to it. Once you give this pour a swirl you see that it coats the glen well and it doesn’t take too long for medium sized legs begin to form. They flow down the glen at an even pace but in a bit of a sporadic pattern. This pour looks great in the glen, but let’s get to that nose!
Nose - As you begin to nose this glen it has a very mild touch of ethanol that tingles the nose. As you work past this you begin to get light fruit notes of crisp apple and vanilla. These are the most prominent notes and on the back end you get this nice light caramel note. The nose is rather enjoyable!
Palate - As you take that first small sip you get this wonderful spice that is overcome with a sweetness. This spice is almost peppery and the sweetness is pink bubble gum. It plays well together and is very balanced. There is also some vanilla and light brown sugar mixed in, but these are very light and only build out the pour as supporting notes. Very tasty palate experience!
Finish - The finish on the pour is medium and the note that just carries is that pink bubble gum sweetness. It just sits on the mid palate and reminds me of original Hubba Bubba gum. Making this a solid and light finish.
Overall - This pour is perfect for football! It has great flavors that won’t distract you from watching your Dawgs dominate on the gridiron! At the same time it has enough going on that you will want to keep sipping and cheering. This pour was well done with enjoying sports in mind. Great job ASW…. Hunker Down Dawgs!
Score #/10 - This pour won’t blow you away and leave you in awe, but I’m not sure that was the intent. It seems to me to be one to help support our beloved Dawgs and enjoy a very solid pour while doing so. In my opinion, this was perfectly achieved! With that in mind I proudly give this pour a 8/10 as it is “For Dram Good Dogs”! So let’s pour this one up and enjoy the ringing of Chapel Bell! Read Less

2025 Elijah Craig Ryder Cup, the neck pour a few weeks ago was very mediocre. Tonight’s pour has opened up very nicely and now I can see where the v Read Morealuation comes from.
The toasted sugar maple is very prevalent and the applewood finish works well on this. A slight warming feeling arrives in the chest about 15 seconds after the semi-dry finish leaves you wanting your next taste. Read Less
