Friday night pour: Old Forester Single Barrel Barrel Strength. This one hits with a rich nose of caramel, toasted oak, and dark cherry. On the palate, it’s bold and full-bodied—brown sugar, spice, a hint of dark chocolate, and a long, warm finish. A powerhouse pour that I’m really enjoying tonight
Now this is a bottle that knows how to get your attention! This bottle by World Whiskey Society for Ducks Unlimited was a great surprise!

Palate: Velvety caramel and vanilla syrup.
Finish: Smooth and lingering, with a little smokiness. Sweet vanilla, spiced honey and lingering spice.
Overall I thought this was an outstanding pour. I love the sweetness on the nose and the nice smooth finish. And how could you not love that bottle? I highly recommend this bottle if you can get your hands on one!
