Might be one of my favorite bottles now - much sweeter than you might guess but a great sipper as you can see bottle is almost gone
**NEW BOURBON REVIEW**
I had been searching for this bottle for a while and was finally able to get my hands on it. I had to see for myself if it was actually better than Woodfords double oak....and sadly I have to admit...IT IS!
Nose: vanilla cream, oak, tobacco, brown sugar
Palate: great viscosity, with cinnamon up front, immediately followed by black pepper, caramel, and lingering charred oak on the finish.
I was shocked at how good this bottle was, even bought a new Woodford double oak to compare and even though it was somewhat close...l had to give it to Peerless. Now there are some double oaks I've yet to try (13th colony, Old Forester & Fox & Oden) so my opinion could change! But until then... Peerless is my reigning champ.
I give this bottle an overall score of 9.3/10 (nose-9/10, palate- 10/10, finish- 9.5/10, price- 8.5/10)

Tonight we have the pleasure of checking out the Bourbon Rabbi Cabernet Sauvignon finished Bourbon.
The nose is delightful. The wine finish shines through with a dark red cherry, with a cherry syrup note accompanying. Vanilla bean and charred oak come through, as well. Spice is subtle, but present.
On the first sip, the vanilla and oak are gently washed over with dark cherries, plum pudding, and the wine influence. Texture is delicate, yet lasting.
The finish towards the end of the sip hangs around just long enough. The dry quality of the wine influence is an interesting change of pace, in a delightful manner. The oak creeps back in accompanied by baking spices and a warm oak note.
Invites another sip as soon as the finish fades away like soft music.
Note: when I first saw the bottle design, it was from the front. I was slightly surprised when I opened the package and found the bottle to have a drastically different side profile. I had incorrectly assumed the bottle was a traditional round profile. However, i do enjoy the pleasant suprise, and I rather like the bottle design. A funny anecdote.
All in all, this is a very good experience. I commend Rabbi Chaim Litvin for making a delightful Bourbon, as well as his contributions to the whiskey industry as a whole.

From my Drinking Lately list, I adore these finished store picks from High West. I’ve picked up several of the Barreled Manhattan finish and it never disappoints. Excellent in a cocktail but retains almost enough of the Manhattan from the barrel that you don’t need to mix it.
Big fan of the Lux Row Blood Oath offerings. The various finishes have brought unique flavors & depth to each bottle. As the price point creeps I have lost interest in searching for the latest releases but that doesn’t take away from what’s inside. Cheers 🥃
Rare Characters' Limited Release 2025 Rye Batch 1 is too damn good! Man, the baking spices bedazzle your taste buds and bring forth ripe dark fruits, madagascar vanilla, subtle mint, raw honey, citrus, flower petals, and this really luscious milk chocolatey finish that last for days! Sensational. 🤌🏽🙂↕️
