Who knew PBR made a whiskey? This crystal clear 80 proof whiskey has a four grain mash bill of 52%corn 28%Barley 3% rye and 17% wheat. It is aged for 5 seconds. Smells like cheap tequilla and tastes citrusy sweet, hint of peach with a "bread" like funk. Not for everybody but nice find. I got it at @delanceywinenyc for under 20 dollars.
Loving this Dry Fly Washington state Triticale Whiskey. 101 proof makes it drinks great neat or in an old fashioned. Triticale is a wheat and rye hybrid that gives the sweetness of the wheat for the "wheater"in you and the spicy of rye for all you "rye" guys. Give this a try! You won't be disappointed! Friday Ryeday with Sagamore Rye. A true Maryland rye with all the rye tasting notes from mint to dill and the spicy pepper. Enjoying in a sweet B-More, which is a 2 and half ounce pour with a bar spoon of PX Sherry. Smooths the rye out and brings the herbacious notes forward. Cheers and good pouring!
Fantastic nose. Smells like a frozen chocolate covered banana. Caramelized sugar and sweet oak.
Nice sweet syrupy wood covers the palate. Very viscous. Getting some strawberries and cherries on the back end of the palate. The palate is great but the nose is fantastic. Finish is medium to long.

Nice sweet cherries on the nose. A bit of dusty peanut as well and zero ethanol. Very pleasant. Reminds me of old school MGP.

Grate paring to start off the new year
New year, new cork pop. Parker’s double barrel blend is one of my favorite bottles and I finished my last bottle of it quicker than I think any other bottles. Down to my last bottle and oh my gosh this nose is intoxicating. Reminds me of George T Stagg with the aroma of dark grape notes but more complex with oven roasted peanuts, powdered sugar and pixy stix. I could smell this all day
