Old Forester is normally not my jam but man is this bottle something else. Rich syrup, pecan pie, fresh banana nut bread with the caramelization done just right where the bread is sticky.
Vanilla and fresh mint rush down my palate leading to a great experience and texture leaving me wanting more every sip.

Weller Special Reserve. It's a good benchmark for whether a whiskey is worth the hunt and/or secondary pricing to get.

Did a little bourbon hunting while in Tulsa over the weekend and I acquired a couple of bottles Heaven Hill Grain to Glass and The High West Bourye. Excited to try them out!
With all the hype over allocated bottles and the rarities we drool and cry over, I’ve gotten back to the roots of when I stared loving whiskey. We all love Wild Turkey 101 this is nothing new, but I’ve spent a considerable amount of time with it as of late and cannot seem to find a bottle I crave more and often. Cheers to SIPN
Super high proof but not much ethanol on the nose. I get burnt sugars and a nice nuttiness.
High octane explosion right off the gate. Nuttiness upfront but wow I feel like this pour is a dominatrix that takes my taste buds for a wild ride. My taste buds are scared but they kinda like it. Great flavor lingers and I do get heat but it doesn’t blow my tastebuds out. Really great bottle.
