This bottle is a hit or miss to be honest. Sometimes I’m greeted with a pleasant sweetness and other times I get an ethanol punch with not much flavor. This time was a hit!
Because of the high variance in taste in my bottle it’s hard to recommend especially because it’s pretty pricey at MSRP. I have to say though, it looks really good on my shelf so I can’t deny that.

Did a flight last evening. 2X0 oak series, Peerless double iaked, Chicken Cock double oaked and Woodford Reserve double oaked.
Very cold tonight so time to bring out the big guns. Bold rich grape almost a wine flavor. The flavor bomb continues to the palate and almost zaps my taste buds with sweet sugars. This bottle is one of my favorite because a small sip goes a long way on the palate and finish.
It’s snowing, blowing and going to get extremely cold here in Ohio tonight.
