I hadn’t come across a good reason to crack open my Still Austin Tanager. An unplanned trip to the ranch today with good friends warranted such an event. I’ll admit, I’ve listened the to reviews and heard nothing but good things but I was skeptical/afraid I’d be disappointed and the hype I was talking to my buddies would be a joke. We were not disappointed. So much flavor, creamy smoothness and the notes coming off the nose were great. Cheers!!!
Finally! Still Austin Blue Corn 5yr is the pour tonight flanked by the 2023 and 2025 release. Not sure why I started with the 5yr but I’m sure each of the other releases are equally as delicious. Cheers!!
Oh man this bottle is great. Makers really knocked it out of the park with this one. Cinnamon cherry and just the right dose of chocolate. The texture really stands out and I get a great creaminess and long finish. Great balance and flavor.
