Peanut butter/cookie butter on the nose. Rich vanilla and caramel. Oh man I’m getting leather and tobacco as well. One of the best noses of any bourbon. No ethanol.

A Midwinter Nights Dram Act 11 Scene 9 I’m really enjoying this pour. Picked up Act 12 Scene 7 a few days ago and can’t wait to pop the cork on it.
Corn right off the bat. Figured since it’s a corn whiskey but definitely not hiding on the nose. The 20 year age is really showing too with rich caramel and dark vanilla flavors. Still getting ethanol and astringency.
I’m getting spicy cornbread on the palate and finish? Definitely unique drinking highs fed corn whiskey. I think it was a good experiment but a little too crazy flavors for me.
