Cherry glazed pie filling and pastry crust. Peanut and am I getting some bubblegum on the nose. Cherry isn’t my favorite flavor for bourbon but a standout on my bar when I want a different flavor profile.
Shame the MSRP has gone up so much. Borderline not worth it anymore given how this isn’t one of my top choices.

I found the perfect paring
Luxardo cherries, peanuts, and brown sugar on the nose. One of the better releases from Bardstown Discovery Series just by the nose alone. Smells complex but balanced and rich.
Peanut brittle and burnt brown sugar on the palate and invites you to drink more. Medium finish and overall a really good bottle.

It’s always a good night when the Elmer T Lee comes out. Very bright, sweet fruity notes and very inviting with zero ethanol. Grape juice/jolly rancher.
So pleasant on the palate as well. Not really an explosion of flavors but just a pleasant afternoon drive of an experience. The flavors really transfer from the nose to the palate very well with still no ethanol.

Well aged deep dark oak notes leather and brown sugar. Very sweet but a mature sweetness. Not like a candy sweet, more like a molases sweet. Very pleasant nose and smells special.
Special notes are all around this bottle with just how perfectly balanced this pour is. Velvet mouthfeel and everything about this bottle is details oriented. Nice cherry/grape sweetness and great finish.
