This is the biggest bottle I’ve ever gotten my hands on. Such a rare and highly sought after release I’m glad to add it to my collection. I open most of my bottles but this is a bottle I think I’d like to save for a special occasion at some point.

Saw this on the shelf, really enjoyed the Batch 197B of the uncut unfiltered so I figured I would give this a try.
Oo this smells like hardcore old school MGP. Powdered sugar and roasted walnuts on the nose. Little bit of pepper and dark cherry as well. Nice rich and complex with minimal ethanol.
On the palate it packs a punch for sure. I’ve had this bottle with a cigar and the flavor is able to punch through the tobacco. So without the cigar to mellow out the flavors it tastes more raw and unfiltered. Definitely can taste the heat and ethanol upfront but rich dark and complex oaky sweetness on the back end. Not getting much favors I got on the nose. Finish is long and gives a very pleasant Kentucky hug.
