Waiting on my wife to finish getting ready for our date night and since she taking forever I decided to pop open the Larceny Barrel proof A124.
The first time I tried this bottle was with a. Close family member at a bar and it was a very special and memorable night. Every time I have this bottle I get reminded of that time.
So I’m probably a bit biased but a unique pleasant oak on the nose. Toffee, butterscotch and again very unique pleasant notes. Reminiscent of Whopper chocolate with the Malt. Definitely not for everyone but if you’re into the funky more out there whiskeys, this is for you.

Found this recipe online - going to try out for this Halloween. Simmer on low heat in a pot for 45 min and strain before serving: Bourbon, Apple cider, Mulling spices, Orange & apple slices
