Some home aging experiments I'm getting ready for Thanksgiving.
Bottle one is Apple Whiskey mixed with Jack Daniel's and an Amburana Spiral.
Bottle #2 is a "poor Man's Pappy" wheated bourbon blend that i proofed down and added a French Oak Spiral.
Bottle #3 is a different "pappy-esque" blend of a wheated bourbon with an American Oak spiral with heavy char.
Going to let these age in the Bottle until Thanksgiving and we will see how they turned out

Saying farewell to a fallen soldier. This bottle lasted me as long as it could but I couldn’t help but reaching for it. This older store pick really had a unique chocolate covered strawberry nose and taste that I very rarely get from any other bourbon. This bottle will be missed.
Single Barrel Saturda/ with Evan Williams and Jim Beam Single Barrels.! Simple, sensibly proced,sweet, and satisfying sips!

I'm still pretty new to the bourbon game. Have always heard good things about Four Roses, but have never purchased a bottle until tonight. Excited to crack it open in a couple of days.
