It’s always a good night when the Elmer T Lee comes out. Very bright, sweet fruity notes and very inviting with zero ethanol. Grape juice/jolly rancher.
So pleasant on the palate as well. Not really an explosion of flavors but just a pleasant afternoon drive of an experience. The flavors really transfer from the nose to the palate very well with still no ethanol.

Well aged deep dark oak notes leather and brown sugar. Very sweet but a mature sweetness. Not like a candy sweet, more like a molases sweet. Very pleasant nose and smells special.

Overwhelming syrup sweetness and ZERO ethanol what the heck! I can stick my nose completely in the glass and I’m just getting sweetness. This smells so rich and dense it’s almost like the aroma is heavier than air and doesn’t rise up into my nose. I have to swirl it around to get notes. Reminds me of a heavy charred peppercorn crust steak. This is the definition of a meaty nose. On the back end I get rich Concord grape.
Oh my god as soon as the pour hits my tongue it was like an atomic bomb of flavor went off. Took me completely off guard especially with the unassuming nose. Second sip is so much better after I braced myself knowing what was coming.
This is the perfect example on how to perfectly balance a high proof bourbon. Balance is really the only word that keeps coming to mind. Hard for me to pull notes because my mind goes blank every time I drink it lol. The darkest of dark oaks and pepper. Not much sweetness going on but dark burnt caramel and sugar.

I've been looking for this bottle since June 2020, Batch #1, and finally found one that's pristine! Since this has been discontinued indefinitely, I will probably just hold on to this one until I retire and then pop it with all of my other hard to score finds.

On the nose I get citrus peel and honey sweetness. The nose is more delicate than I expected but very balanced and pleasant.

This pour reminds me of going into one of those high end fancy art galleries and seeing a plain white canvas and falling in love. Beauty in simplicity. Or maybe I’m a fool just like that person that will buy a white canvas for millions. Maybe my brain is tricking me just because of the hype and the name.

Another find today, heard mixed reviews, but everyone's opinions are their own. I like the higher proof stuff for the most part, but if this is anything like OGD 114, it has to be pretty good. I would have loved to have had this in a 114 version @ 16 yr, that would have been incredible!
