ELIXIR Bourbon Festival – Saturday, September 13, 1 pm – 4 pm

Celebrate National Bourbon Heritage month by learning about and tasting through a wide range of bourbon whiskies from 10 different companies, both well-known and lesser known, with some special treat pours sprinkled in, including some from the Elixir Private Barrel program (going back to 2007).

We’re hosting a tasting event featuring a curated lineup from iconic and emerging whiskey producers, with classic cocktails and complimentary small bites to keep you fueled for the tasting. Guests will enjoy sample-size pours from multiple brands, compare styles across both heritage and craft bourbons, and explore how each whiskey performs in classic cocktails.

THE TASTING: Numerous brands from celebrated producers will be poured, including Sausalito Spirits, Bulleit, Blade & Bow, Griffon & Grain, Sazerac (Pappy Van Winkle, Weller, Blantons, and more), Angel’s Envy (Cider Cask and Distillery Release), Cyrus Noble, Maker’s Mark (Cellar Aged and The Heart Releases), Suntory (Booker’s and Baker’s) and more. Each will showcase a range of new and old favorites, special single-barrel and premium expressions, cocktail features, small bites, and ELIXIR brand giveaways — all in one afternoon at San Francisco’s second-oldest saloon.

$8 Bourbon Classics Cocktail Menu – Test how these bourbons perform in classic bourbon cocktails! Each producer will have a featured bourbon you can try in a Manhattan, Old Fashioned, or Whiskey Sour. Find your favorite cocktail bourbon for just $8 each!

Rare ELIXIR Private Barrel Selections – We’ll pull down some of our Private Barrel Collection that is not regularly available, including the very first private barrel of bourbon sold by Sazerac in California, our 2007 Eagle Rare 10 year, Weller Full Proof, Weller Antique, Maker’s Mark Private, Four Roses OBSK, Henry McKenna, Wilderness Trail, and a bottle of the elusive 2012 Elijah Craig 12 Year.
