Good spice in the mouth, mint, vanilla, and oak tannins.
Bubblegum, mint, vanilla and a little dill.
Medium length.Nice spice at the back of the tongue.
The Bird Dog Whiskey brand is probably best known for their various flavored Whiskeys, including jalapeno honey-flavored Whiskey, chocolate-flavored W hiskey, and (the apparently) award-winning blackberry-flavored Whiskey.Not being a fan of flavored Whiskey, and particularly not anything related to the unholy combination of jalapeno, honey and bourbon, the Bird Dog Small Batch is my first foray with the label.It should be noted, however, that Western Spirits includes a few other sourced bourbons in their portfolio, including Calumet Farm Bourbon Whiskey and Lexington Bourbon Whiskey.
