It tastes of molasses and butterscotch with a touch of leather and wood.Very smooth and good for sipping.
The nose starts with fruit and brown sugar with a butterscotch and leather finish.
The flavors are simple but not overly simple with just the right touch of sweetness.
It's all about the water and the charring! It took quite a while to find the right water to make Carefree Bourbon what it is today.The bourbon is plac ed in new charred oak barrels at 120 proof and has been aging for just under 3 years.It is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malt.When extracted from the barrel in the distillery it is brought down to 90 proo or 45% alcohol by volume.
