The first sip was thin and had no burn.Notes of allspice and stale cinnamon were most prominent.The second sip had a concentrated warmth in the top back palate.Notes of rich dark fruit, caramel, vanilla, honey, and young oak were present.The third sip was nutty and tasted like mesquite wood.
The nose is interesting with notes of smoked sea salt, corn, faint burnt dill, and wet oak.
The finish was medium with notes of cinnamon, brine, caramel, and cherry.
