The flavor is quite spicy, with lots of oak and a bit of sweetness. it?s described as pure bourbon. it?s not complex, but it seems to have a perfect amount of oak/char flavor to it.
The nose is roasted oak-forward with caramel, dried citrus peel, dried ginger root, a little dry and grassy nuttiness, a slightly drier gala apple, a drop of vanilla buttercream, and a few slivers of dried berries.
The finish leaves a pleasant woody, but not bitter, tone that coats the tongue and the entire mouth. it also has nice notes of vanilla.
