amel candy, vanilla wafer, and dark berry compote, with soft underpinnings of oak spice. On the palate, the Armagnac finish adds a layer and depth of dark fruits with a touch of French oak spice while framing rich orchard fruits and baking spices, all without falling out of balance which is remarkable. The finish is about as good as it gets with a slow fade of sweet and spice before dark berries in caramel sauce return and linger.
