This is definitely a full bodies bourbon. On the front of my palate, I found cinnamon, dark chocolate, and nutmeg. As the liquid worked its way back, plum, cherry, and brown sugar took center stage. Finally, on the back, a blend of cocoa powder, almond, and rye spice.
Predominant dark fruits with some dark fruits, brown sugar and vanilla.
Heavier spice on this medium length finish. As it finish progresses you can also expect tobacco leaf and light toasted oak.
Tumblin Dice is a 6 year old single barrel bourbon distilled in Indiana. The mashbill consists of 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% barley. Aged in new charre d oak barrels.
