The palate is sweet with caramel tones up front, followed by a balance of vanilla, oak, baking spices, and a dash of white pepper.
On the nose we found ripe apricot, plenty of oak, and a dash of red apple.
The finish is long and warm with a lingering kick.
This straight bourbon whiskey was crafted with a high rye mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. Bottled at a strength to highlight its full bodied flavor with nuances of dried fruit, honey, oak and spice.
