Rye spice is supported by vanilla, caramel, coconut, brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice, warm pecan pie, toasted coconut, black tea, and peanuts.
Brown sugar, cherry, fruit-wood smoke, toasted pecan, and tobacco aromas.
Long and sweet with underlying cinnamon candy.
Pecans, both the nut and the shell, are found on the nose along with sweet creamed corn.There is a decent amount of smoke from the barrel detected, bu t it's not over the top.For 100% corn, the bourbon is not as oily and slick as one might expect, which is a good thing.The palate has more of a dark caramel covered popcorn quality to it along with a moderate amount of wood spices.It is young and perhaps not super complex, but overall it's pretty, pretty, pretty good.
