Grape nerds and laffy taffy. Zero oak on the nose just sugar and ethanol. This bottle packs an ethanol punch but a bigger sweetness punch on the nose.
Oh man what a rush! Such a sweet flavor but I also feel like I could cause a fire hazard if I sneezed near a candle. I think this bottle is borderline too sweet for me to enjoy for more than a pour or two. I think EHT Single Barrel is my sweet spot.

Thanks for the awesome Glen! I decided to break it in with a Rye-day pour of Corbin Cash 100% Merced Rye (147 proof) I felt it was appropriate for such a cool glass. Cheers!
This is an amazing wheater that isn't getting the credit I think it deserves. The 45% wheat mashbill gives you that sweetness you want, with a long finish.
Bardstown is finally available in my area. Was able to grab one of the discovery #10. Picked it over the goose island, not sure if that was the right choice. But excited to give it a try.
Weller Antique 107: last pour of this particular expression. Lucky for me (and my nose), three more bottles are patiently waiting.
If you are lucky enough to live in a state where this is on the shelves, get it. It's got enough flavor to stand on it's own. But it does go really well in cocktails (especially the namesake cocktail). It's priced fair enough, where available, that it really is just worth having as a constant on the shelf.
