Palate is the same bold and balanced flavors. Every time I have this bottle I can’t believe the proof point it is. So much flavor texture and finish for such a low proof. This bottle is an experience to drink.

Nobel Oak Double Oak Bourbon and rye are both non age stated but per their website are at least two years old before finishing in Spanish sherry stav Read Morees for the bourbon and port staves for the rye. They both come in at 90 proof with undusclosed mashbills and distillery sources. I picked the bourbon from @bigvaluewine and the rye from @fishkillwine for $20 and $25 respectively. The company offers to plant a tree for each bottle sold. There is a forrest in the making.😅
On the nose, they both give aromas of brown sugar, oak and seasoned wood along with undelying fruit notes.
On the palette they are sweet with cherry, light caramel syrup, sweet berry notes of sherry and the wine note in the rye. that add oak and white pepper at the mid palate. The finish is an easy mid length sweet and peppery oak one. A slight hug from the 90 proof only is noticeable on the first sip. The first sip of many as this is an easy neat sipper that fits before or after a meal.
